We transport weanlings and older foals that have not yet learned to stand tied only in a loose manner. With loose transport, the foal has the opportunity to lie down and move freely. This lack of restraint makes the journey more pleasant and less stressful. For safety reasons, a foal is never transported with other horses! The exceptions are a mare with a foal at foot or two foals from the same breeding farm. After weaning, foals often show a temporary decrease in immunity. Before such transport, the horse vehicle is additionally disinfected to avoid exposing the foal to additional pathogens. Bad memories of the first transport can influence the future behavior of the horse during transport. Therefore, it is extremely important not to discourage a young horse during its first transport. Every foal is different. Some are brave, trusting, and familiar with their surroundings, while others are quite the opposite, fearful, and panicking when they see a stranger. For such foals, we recommend consulting a veterinarian to administer sedatives before transport. Transport of a Mare with a Foal at Foot when transporting a mare with a foal at foot, we remove the partition from the horse vehicle so that the foal has free access to its mother and can drink milk during the journey. 3. Short info about the horse: age, gender, size/weight. If the horse is problematic to transport, please include this information as well.

Medical Transport to the Clinic

In emergencies, such as colic or bone fractures, we are able to organize a quick transport to the clinic. This service is only available in Poland! Please note when requesting emergency transport to the clinic that our headquarters is located in Poland, in Bytom (Silesia).
